Forgotten genocides

While we are on the subject of forgotten genocides, let's remember to forget Darfur.

During a talk at the Hay-on-Wye book festival in Wales in 2001, Bill Clinton said his one greatest regret as President was not to have acted more quickly to prevent the genocide in Rwanda, where nearly one million people were killed in just three months in 1994.

President Bush is on the same sluggish path of political apathy and neglect, with almost two hundred thousand killed in Darfur to date. However, with all the other regrets he has stacked up from the previous six years of mismanagement, what's one little genocide.
